I grew up in a wonderful home with an amazing mother. My 2 grandmothers lived close by and we were spoiled by them. One was named Anna and the other Rhea Anna. And so my handle if you will is Granny Ann. Together those 3 women taught me everything and taught me how to love living life by hand. I hope you enjoy the adventure as much as I have.

Left-over Roast Beef Soup

1 lb. left-over roast beef, cubed or 1 lb. ground beef
Is there really any such thing as left-over roast beef? Well at my house I actually try to buy more roast than I need just so that we can have this soup on Mondays. But like I said I try. If I have left-over rolls it's even better on Monday. Hello Monday.:)


6 cups water
2 cups tomato juice
1/3 cup onions, coarsely chopped
1 Tablespoon salt
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1 cup celery, diced
1 cup potatoes, diced
1 cup carrots, sliced
1 cup cabbage, chopped

In a large saucepan boil all ingredients until veggies are tender
